Favorite item?
I am wondering whether members are willing to share their "favorite" items and maybe tell us why...
Here is one of mine (I have many favorite items...). A few years ago, I bought the New South Wales uncut newspaper wrappers. Sometime later, I started to look at the watermarks of my Australian items, and realized how extraordinary the watermark of these were. I knew about the "ONE PENNY" text, but never realized how intricate the marginal watermarks were, seen at the bottom on this picture.
I consider this to be the most unusual watermark I am aware of. Anybody else aware of something similar or even more intricate?
