Can anyone tell me the difference between ES112 (10p orange stamp, L86, 1979) and EP129-131 or EP133-134?
They all seem to have stamp L86 and EP129-134 have 1 or 2 phosphor bands.
But does ES112 have any bands?
Any help would be appreciated.

All post office issued envelopes have an 'EP' prefix. They are all made to standard sizes (see page 4 of H&B) These sizes are given in the listings: e.g. EP129 is size 'O'. Stamped to Order issues consist of whatever the customer has sent to Somerset House for stamping: paper, envelopes, card, wrapper etc. Consequently STO items may be a whole range of sizes and printed on a whole range of paper / card types. The listings for S.T.O. items indicate if these are known as labels, letter sheets or wrappers in addition to envelopes. (See p.22 of H&B)
In the case of GVI onwards, the same die is generally used for the STO item as is used for the post office issue. Different dies were used in some cases, e.g. GV S.T.O. postcards -- See p. 68 H&B.
